Greetings everyone. Welcome to this week’s edition of Lost In Hyd, where we curate some of the best events and cafes in Hyderabad for you to try out this week. Hyderabad’s weather has been keeping us on our toes lately. The city has been experiencing partly cloudy skies, a mix of sunshine, and the occasional spotty thunderstorm. While that makes outdoor plans a little unpredictable, it also creates the perfect excuse to explore some indoor experiences, discover a new café, or spend an evening doing something different.
As always, I’ve done the scrolling, searching, and event-hunting for you. Here are a few things that caught my attention this week.
Things To Do This Week
Gather Your Girls for a Midweek Night Out
If you’re looking for an excuse to take a break from work and catch up with friends, the Ladies Night Out at Underdoggs might be worth considering. The event offers complimentary unlimited drinks for women along with a lively atmosphere that’s perfect for a casual evening out.
Sometimes the best plans aren’t elaborate weekend getaways. They’re simply a few hours spent laughing with friends after a long day.
Skip Dinner and Try an Art Date Instead
One event that immediately stood out to me was the Trippy Art Date experience. Whether you’re planning a date, spending time with a close friend, or simply looking to do something creative on your own, this feels like a refreshing alternative to the usual coffee-and-conversation routine.
There’s something relaxing about painting without worrying about the outcome. The experience is more about enjoying the process than creating a masterpiece, which makes it appealing even if you’ve never picked up a paintbrush before.
Get Your Hands Dirty at a Pottery Workshop
I’ve always thought pottery experiences look incredibly therapeutic, and this workshop at Feu Restaurant seems like the perfect opportunity to try it.
Instead of spending another weekend scrolling through your phone, imagine spending a few hours shaping clay, learning a new skill, and creating something with your own hands. The workshop is beginner-friendly, which means you don’t need any prior experience to enjoy it.
If you’re someone who enjoys creative experiences, this would probably be my top recommendation from this week’s list.
Experience Shobana Live
For those who appreciate art, culture, and classical performances, Shobana’s BHAV deserves a place on your radar.
Shobana’s performances are known for their storytelling, expression, and extraordinary stage presence. Even if you’re not a regular follower of classical dance, this is the kind of event that offers a completely different experience from the usual movies, concerts, and comedy shows that dominate most weekends.
Sometimes it’s worth stepping outside your usual entertainment choices, and this feels like one of those opportunities.
Café of the Week
Cravery Cafe
Every week, I try to find a café that offers something beyond good coffee, and this week’s pick is Cravery Cafe.
What I like about Cravery is that it doesn’t feel like another generic café trying to follow trends. The menu draws inspiration from regional flavors while presenting them in a modern, approachable way. The result is a place that feels both familiar and refreshing at the same time.
Whether you’re planning a slow brunch, catching up with friends, or looking for a cozy corner to work from, Cravery strikes that balance between comfort and character. It’s the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time, which is usually a good sign.
If you’re looking to explore a new café this week, I’d definitely add this one to the list.
Before You Go
One of the things I enjoy most about curating Lost in Hyd is discovering experiences that might otherwise get buried beneath endless social media posts and event listings.
This week offers a little bit of everything: creativity, culture, food, and fun. Whether you decide to try pottery, attend a classical performance, plan an art date, or simply spend an afternoon at a new café, I hope you find something here that makes your week a little more interesting.
Until next time, keep exploring.
Stay curious. Stay Lost in Hyd.
